Park Slope Schoolhouse offers a unique, all-inclusive tuition with no additional fees or costs.
Earlier Drop Off and Later Pick Up Times than Other Programs
The school’s open door policy from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm allows flexibility with your schedule without worrying about extra fees.
Open More Days Throughout the Year than Most Programs
PSS is open from September through mid-August and is generally closed only for federal holidays with minimal vacations, minimizing the need for supplemental backup care and summer camps.
Modern, Clean and Age-Appropriate Facility
Built in 2009, the school features a private, newly renovated backyard and indoor sensory gym to complement the generous classrooms.
Enrichment Programs
Included in our tuition are also our enrichment classes Yoga, Bilingual Birdies, a Spanish music program, and soccer sessions with the Super Soccer Stars.

Master’s Level Head Teachers and Experienced, Tenured Faculty
Head teachers are State Certified to teach Early Childhood Education with Master’s Degrees. Teaching Assistants have Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Infant/Toddler teacher assistants have a CDA (Child Development Associate). Many staff have celebrated 10-38 years at PSS.
Early Childhood Development Specialist & Occupational Therapist
In addition to the school’s knowledgeable staff, PSS’s licensed Early Childhood Development Specialist can assist your family with educational, developmental, or behavioral concerns. Our OT assists children and teachers to build skills that enable them in meaningful occupations, including feeding, playing, socializing and attending to activities.
Family and Parenting Communication and Support
PSS supports the whole family. We provide monthly workshops on topics, such as parenting styles, managing bedtime routine, how to talk to young children about race and racial justice, screentime, pre-writing skills, toilet training, and much more!

Tuition Faqs
Can I change the schedule once the school year starts?
You should select the schedule that will work best for you. You may not have the option to change your schedule until the following year.
How does the non-refundable down payment work? Does it go towards the last month?
No, $3,750 is an upfront cost to secure your placement, then we divide the balance by 12 months, which is your monthly tuition above.
Can I apply, pay the down payment and withdraw?
Once you sign the enrollment agreement and pay the down payment, you are financially fully committed for the year.
What happens with my tuition if I go on vacation during the school year or the summer?
You may take vacation at any point during the school year, but you are still responsible for the tuition.
